print.google.com May 30
Reading the Photoshop Techniques forums today and saw a post about another Google beta site print.google.com. It looks similar to Amazon’s A9.com.
Type in a few search terms and print.google.com searches the text of some unknown number of books and gives back all of the books where it found your terms. It gets better. You can click on a certain book and read the pages where your terms appear. How sweet is that?
Applications? Think research. Want to find out some info about congenital heart disease in children? Right there, in black and white I can find out that it occurs in 0.8% of newborn infants in North America. Another good use: Recipes. I’ve got milk, eggs, cayenne pepper and cheddar cheese. Looks like I can make a cheese souffle! okay how about
drinks? Before you know it we’ve got infants with congenital heart disease drinking long island iced tea with their souffle.
