This is my playground!

I’ve broken this site 5 times now. Broken in the sense that I’ve had to reinstall the software that runs it because I don’t know the real way to fix what I screw up. But hey, that’s how I learn. Hilary is tired of listening to me throw around acronyms like SQL and PHP while I talk about scripts and such. She also knows me, and she knows that when I get on a kick — whether it be breakfast foods or a hobby — I engulf myself in it… then I drop it. Bam. No more. All done.

With that said, welcome to my latest kick. You’re a part of it. It’s this site, my playground. I’d like to say that I hope this will last, but if there is another thing I know about kicks it’s that they’re unpredictable. I don’t control them, I just roll with them.

By the way, the original point of this post was to point out that I found this cool PHP SCRIPT that shows interesting (interesting being relative to the person reading) stats about the site. You can see it here: The Stats Page

Ha, how appropriate. I can’t get the stats to work now :)

Zombie dogs… no, this isn’t a joke

I’m really just going to let the article speak for itself on this one…

SCIENTISTS have created eerie zombie dogs, reanimating the canines after several hours of clinical death in attempts to develop suspended animation for humans.
US scientists have succeeded in reviving the dogs after three hours of clinical death, paving the way for trials on humans within years.

Pittsburgh’s Safar Centre for Resuscitation Research has developed a technique in which subject’s veins are drained of blood and filled with an ice-cold salt solution.
