Lots of shooting this weekend. Just the way I like it! We had snow late this week. It was the kind that is heavy, wet and sticks to every tree branch. When the sun comes out the light just dances on the snow and looks amazing. Friday evening I’m driving home, squirming in my seat because the light just looks so cool. The sun was peeking from behind one set of clouds and lighting these snow covered trees against a backdrop of deep gray clouds. My mind should have been on driving. Instead I made one too many unexpected lane changes as I craned my neck around to absorb the scene around me. Great day to catch a sunset.

I picked up camera and Fran and we cruised down to the Erie Basin Marina to shoot the display. So cold on the waterfront, but worth the numb fingers.

On Saturday I spent the afternoon shooting with Mike in East Aurora. We had the chance to run around with two super cool, and talented people. Sarah is destined for Broadway and Colton has the gift of voice. They’re also best friends which helped all of us find our groove quite easily.

Easter weekend. Friday off work. Forecast says nothing but sunshine. Excellent!

Instead, how about chasing 600mg of Ibuprofen with Vicks44 and sleeping with a humidifier? Oh, lovely. We really must do this more often. Do we have any azithromycin? Wonderful.
Besides the back of my eyelids, this has been my view for the past three days. Fevers, chills, aches and pains, can’t breath, more fever. blech.

On the bright side, I got to watch the first season of Heroes and spend some quality time with my mattress. We should really get to know each other better. In fact, I think it’s probably feeling neglected right now. I think I’ll go check
